You have to really appreciate this story for what it is. And that is a half cocked novella inspired by a character in another series saying she was going to take a pause from sweating out her menopause to try her hand at paranormal fiction. Would I want to follow these characters for multiple more stories? No. That’s why 96 pages was adequate. But this is still from the mind of Robyn peterman which meant a few lines made me chuckle. I like the characters she writes. And I could see this being the work of the fictional Nancy.
