My Butterflies by B. Evans

5.0

WOW.... I was not prepared for this book. I requested it because of the butterflies on the cover and it was narrated in dual POV. I was not prepared for the emotions that this book put me through. That ending... seriously... I'm dying for book two. This book was a total emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, I cried, I got angry. Basically, I felt everything. As for Tessa and Jax, their chemistry is off the charts from the very beginning. You can just feel the tension. I really connected with Tessa, she's so relatable. Jax, though... he's complicated. I get that he wants to do the right thing, but he also drove me absolutely crazy sometimes. Thank goodness for dual POV, because at least I knew what he was thinking (even when I wanted to yell at him). Narrators Laura Horowitz and Gregory Salinas absolutely killed it. They brought Tessa and Jax to life. The emotions, the chemistry – it was all so real. Seriously, the narration made the book even better.

Thank you NetGalley and Platinum Rose Publishing LLC for the ALC of this book. I voluntarily read it and gave an honest review.
