I'm really struggling with rating this book... Don't get me wrong, Malala's story is absolutely incredible! She is so strong and vocal about what she believes in and I admire that. This book however, was not really what I was expecting. A large chunk of the book focused on the history of Pakistan. While I think that is something that everyone should read about, it was a major struggle for me. Not only because the information itself is hard to read about with all the violence and such, but because history is just not my subject. I would highly recommend this book to everyone and I would absolutely call it a "must read," but I wouldn't tell anyone that it is an "easy read."
