This story tore me apart. I couldn’t help reading page after page, because once you reach a certain point you can’t put it down. I had to see how the book would end. You want to reach into the book and hug griff himself. Take his pain away from him and make him less broken.
As the story progresses and you start disliking one of the characters, you quickly realize that nobody is the bad guy, but also everyone is the bad guy at the same time.
Nobody could have prevented the death but everybody feels responsible.
As griff continues to tell his story, and more details are revealed about Theo’s life with and away from griff, more puzzle pieces begin being put together.
A great read. Adam Silvera delivers once again.
