Brides & Brothers by Anneka R. Walker
3.0

Have you ever watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers? I watched it all the time growing up, so I knew that I had to pick up this modern retelling set in Cherish, Montana.

Aiden Peterson is the eldest of… you guessed it… seven brothers. After their parents pass away in a car accident, he’s left in charge, meaning he never has time for himself. How can he get his brothers married off and out of the house, and start living his own life? Maybe he can lead by example…

Enter Camille. It’s insta-love and she & Aiden are in it for the long haul after two weeks. What she doesn’t realize is that instead of having a huge home all to herself with Aiden, the house comes with six adult man-children. Camille is not here for it, and decides the solution to her problem could be marrying the brothers off to her best friends.

Yes, the premise is as ridiculous and lovely as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and yes, I want to see this as a movie on the Hallmark channel. A quick and light read, this Christian romance was a fun take on Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
