I honestly was not expecting this book to be what it was- I did not understand what the monsters were before starting it but what a topical and thoughtful book, a reminder that monsters will never be fully gone, and a guide as we imagine our better future. I’m really loving books that are kind of fantasy-ifying real life evil, telling our own story in fairytale form.
