All the Days Past, All the Days to Come
by Mildred D. Taylor
I'm giving this 3.5 stars and rounding up to four. Though this is the last novel in a series, it can be read as a standalone. The events covered are important and readers get a first hand look at the Civil Rights Movement through Cassie's eyes. My main issue with it was the length. There were passages that felt too long winded, and the book easily would have worked with fewer pages. But a good addition to YA Historical fiction that's so saturated with WWII stories.
