Mayor Fisk is out of commission so that leaves Matt Murdock as mayor of New York City!

This is basically one big fight scene throughout these 5 issues. We have the hand coming into NYC to take it over but also kill Blindspot. It's actually pretty big takeover as the hand first goes after Fisk but then tries to kill any cops or law enforcement who are stopping them. This leads Matt to deal with being the Mayor of New York but also being Daredevil and stopping them.

I felt like this was the first "Go wild and fun" chapter in Soule's run. I've enjoyed the majority of the run but this one is bonkers. The take over of new york is both fun and over the top. Matt seems more fun in this one for some reason. I also enjoyed all the fight scenes, there's some amazing action set pieces. The ending also sets up some nice plot points.

Wasn't too big of a fan of the "out of nowhere fighters" coming in towards middle half. That seemed a bit weird and the ending of the bad guys was lolz over the top but kind of too silly.

Overall though still really fun. Not the best volume but I enjoyed reading through it a lot. A 3.5 out of 5.
