I LOVE stories about witches, so I enjoyed the facts sprinkled into the beginning about real witches/Wicca, and wish more people would educate themselves about the very things Samantha Gentry highlighted.

Devon, a witch and High Priest, attends a Halloween party to find Raina, another witch and the sister of the woman who wronged his family...one hundred years ago. He plans to use Raina to get to her sister, Miranda, but Raina also has a plan. She knows Devon has sex magick and she wants to learn everything he has to offer.

There’s a lot of back-story in the beginning so we can understand Devon’s motives. The story also switches suddenly from Devon’s perspective to Raina’s without a clear indication, which may trip up other readers although it didn’t bother me.

The plot line about revenge and finding Miranda didn’t hold up to what I was expecting, nor did it last long. I was hoping for more. Overall this was very sexy read and well written.
