i was finessed by this one... i was under the impression that this was going to be very romance heavy but it wasn't. i would say this was more cozy fantasy, fairytale-esque set up than anything else. the plot moved rather slowly and nothing truly grasped me until the final 10 chapters of the book. that being said i do think that this sets up a second book rather nicely from both a romance and plot point of view. overall, it was okay. i will probably pick up the second book just to see where things go with the fmc
