I thought some of the concepts that were tackled here were intriguing. I especially like it when a book ends up forcing me to expand my knowledge. Not being a science buff, I did a lot of digging while reading this. Though it started strong, it fell short because I didn't end up caring for any of the characters or what might happen to earth. Eh!
