I loved it until the Haiti stories. I didn't see how it intertwined... Truth be told, I eventually got to where I skimmed that section halfway through until the end. Maybe that's where something got lost in translation.
Before that, I was captivated by his startling abilities to write a story. It was enough that I will definitely check out anything he has published or publishes in the future.
