Aaaah! I loved this book so much. As an OG fan of Grey's Anatomy, this gave me all those early-season vibes and was perfection. Lainey and Sam had chemistry off the charts and I love a good "he falls first" trope. Lainey was smart and sassy and Sam was oh-so-charming. To say he was obsessed with her is an understatement. The characters and their backstories all felt really well fleshed-out and the writing was fantastic. I could not put this book down. I was surprised to find out this was a debut novel when I went to look up what else Julia had written. I cannot wait to see what else she comes up with.
