I was really keen on reading Penelope and Colin's story, and I was just a little bit let down. I LOVED Penelope, but Colin ran very hot and cold for me, and I just wanted to whack him upside the head half the time.

I enjoyed reading this, and I did a buddy read with my friend, and found we both had similar thoughts as we went along. I love the Bridgerton family and the way they embraced Penelope. I hated her own mother though. Eloise is a star in this one too, and the epilogues lead well into prep for the next book in the series.

I also loved Lady Danbury in this one - she was heaps of fun, and I loved her unlikely connection with Penelope. Can you tell I loved Pen in this one? Haha. Looking forward to reading more from this series.
