bookergirl90 's review for:
Wonderstruck
by Brian Selznick
Brian Selznick did it again.. His combination of artwork and text work so well together and for this story they blend well.
Having Rose story in pictures and Ben's in text made the reading experience better and how even though they were two different stories, Rose's took place in the 20s and Ben's took place in the 70s, they come together very well and you don't feel like it was forced.
Even though this is a children's book it is well written and adults can enjoy it too. This would be the perfect bedtime story for a child because not only can they enjoy the wonderful art work the story is easy to understand but doesn't talk down to children either.
Another 5 star read for me..
