Bronco is the kind of gritty, emotional motorcycle romance that sinks its teeth in and refuses to let go. Mackenzy Fox once again delivers a heart-pounding, soul-stirring addition to the NOLA Rebels series, and this time it’s Bronco and Amber’s turn to burn the page with their fire.

Set in the bold and dangerous world of New Orleans’ MC scene, this twelfth instalment blends friends-to-lovers, fake dating, and a kiss-cam catalyst into a perfectly balanced emotional ride. Bronco is the protective alpha we’ve come to expect (and adore) from this series – fierce, loyal, and unexpectedly tender when it comes to Amber. And Amber? She’s a survivor with sass, carrying the weight of a dark past while trying to claim a future that feels like it’s slipping through her fingers.

Their chemistry is undeniable, but it’s the emotional undercurrent that steals the show. The pact they made – no feelings, no commitment – unravels as the truth surfaces, and secrets from Amber’s past come back swinging. What starts off as fake slowly becomes all too real, and their once platonic bond morphs into something neither of them is ready for, but both desperately need.

What sets Bronco apart is its depth of character. Yes, there’s heat (and plenty of it), but there’s also vulnerability, loyalty, and that raw, gritty edge that fans of the NOLA Rebels have come to crave. Fox masterfully weaves suspense with romance, never letting us get too comfortable, and ensuring we’re flipping the pages late into the night.

While this is the 12th book in the series, it reads beautifully as a stand-alone, with a satisfying HEA and enough world-building to make a new reader feel right at home. But long-time fans will appreciate the cameos and deeper club dynamics that continue to build the NOLA Rebels world.

If you love a protective hero, a strong heroine on the run from her past, and a love story born from friendship and tested by fire, Bronco will absolutely deliver. Add in a tight-knit biker brotherhood, emotional stakes, and swoon-worthy moments, and you've got another Mackenzy Fox gem.
