I really enjoyed this book. It would be a 4 or 4.5 rating, however, the way the Black characters were represented and AAVE, it’s knocked down to a 3.5. It’s overall a really solid thriller with a trans woman MC, but the way the Black characters talked was bad and insensitive. 

I have high hopes that the next books are better in regards to this.
