This book was so fluffy!

“AM I WORTHY?”

ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪ ʟɪᴋᴇᴅ:

The story was super cute! I enjoyed how fluffy it was. I always seemed to smile when the characters were together.

The execution. It was great! I was kind of skeptical going into this book because it is quite hard to pull off adding an app completely made up into a book, but Donna Cooner managed to do it again. (Her other book Screenshot also has a made up app.)

It had a good pacing. Things happened realistically: exactly how they would’ve happened in real life.




ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪ ᴅɪᴅɴᴛ ʟɪᴋᴇ:

The aspect of the quinceanera was brought in to late, I think. It was introduced half-way through the book which I wasn’t a fan of. It also wasn’t explored at all. It was sort of just there to benefit the characters. Also, as a Hispanic young lady, I think that it wasn’t executed a well as it should’ve been.

I wish we could’ve seen more of our beloved main character! She wasn’t shown as much as she should’ve been and we only really learned a fraction of her.
