For the most part, I really liked this book. The world is interesting, the main character is smart and independent, and the supporting characters are interesting as well. However, it was a bit slow for me at times, and I did feel somewhat disconnected from this book while I read it, but those are definitely things that may be attributed to the fact that this is the first book in the series, can improve as the series goes on, so I'm looking forward to continuing this trilogy! :)
