I read this book with the intention of figuring out whether or not I could watch the movie. I'm not sure I could. I have a much better tolerance for reading things than I do for seeing them on a large screen. It is violent, but not so in a way that I couldn't handle.

What I had a hard time getting used to, however, was the writing style. The random left apostrophe, the lack of quotation marks, the parts where it's hard to know who is speaking were rather distracting. After I got used to it, it was hard to put down.

The end disappointed me. Where I thought the book would end came about 5/6ths of the way through the book, and I was confused with what could possibly be left. I'm still a little confused. Maybe that was the intention?
