I have to say I definitely enjoyed the continued journey of Ama and Luca.. and I must take a moment to say that THE STANDOUT STAR OF THIS BOOK IS TAILLEFER!!! He has become one of my favorites, he is complex, a little crazy, ambitious, manipulative and getting to know him more in this book was a joy. He was a tragic character, yes he did what he had to and yes he was not the most stable person, but the one thing I did like about him is just how much he didn’t hesitate in achieving his goals and how he adapted to situations and planned for things. I am so happy to find out that there will be a third book!! The ending for this book was a bit abrupt but finding out that the story continues I can’t wait to see where we go. Ama and Luca once again are such an amazing couple, they both love and trust one another and will fight to the death for each other. Ama, continues to be an amazing protagonist, and I do adore a girl who is fights with a sword and is not afraid to fight her way out of things! So I definitely would recommend this for anyone who enjoyed the first book and I can’t wait for the next one!
