Really enjoyed this, listening on audiobook made a long drive fly by. BUT. I couldn’t get over this: “Hey, you know the two vulnerable, under-threat characters that we have been obsessively guarding? Well, now that our compound is under attack from unknown assailants, let’s all split up and leave these two ALONE. No way could this all be about getting to them.” Yeah, ok. I think the author should have tried harder to find a more plausible way to separate Meg & Sam from the group.
