The Guinevere Deception
by Kiersten White
Actual rating: 2.5 stars
This book was way underwhelming, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting that from K. White, because her I devoured "The Dark descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein", which is also by her.
It was slow all the way, there were very few scenes were the action picked up and there was a semblance of a love triangle, which I didn't really appreciate. Another thing that bithered me a bit was the fact that Guinevere wasn't as fleshed out as I would have liked.
Overall, the twist was a pleasant surprise amidst the slow pacing but it wasn't enough for me unfortunately. This book felt more like a prequel instead of the 1st book in a series and I am not really sure if I'll continue with the series or not!
