this was a wild ride! the mechanics of the plot were a bit .... convoluted, but it was still a great rollercoaster of action. i loved bree and her insane badassery, but she was also such a great character to see grieve and grow and fail and fight. i didn’t LOVE this book, but i think there’s definite potential for a series here and hopefully the history and terminology will make more sense in the future.
