Count My Lies
by Sophie Stava
This is one of the better thrillers I’ve read lately, I had the best time reading it. It was batshit, unhinged and a total popcorn thriller that held my attention the entire time. I was totally engrossed and read it in a sitting, once I started I couldn’t stop. Knowing Sloane is an admitted liar made things fun, sometimes she would admit things were a lie but never trusting her added an extra layer of deception that was delicious. You will need to suspend disbelief, there are plenty of coincidences and things working out just so, but that usually doesn’t bother me and it sure didn’t here, again it was too fun! As captivated as I was things really take off in the last half and the ending was explosive and wild. If you like domestic thrillers with lots of insanity and plenty of twists I freaking loved this one and think you will too
