I have to admit, the title turned me off a bit at first, because I definitely thought it was bi/pan erasure. However, upon reading the book, I understood what Wind was getting at with the title. Most of these people were ones that I was familiar with, but then again I was a women and gender studies major in college in the mid-2000s. I think for people not used to examining historical figures more in-depth will find things to appreciate here.
