The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy
by Mackenzi Lee
This is a strong 4.5 for me, I really wish they'd include half stars!
Felicity was my favourite character in The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue, so I was very excited when it was announced that the sequel would follow her.
I adore that the story doesn't centre on a love story. I adore that Felicity's actions aren't driven by her loins! She is an independent, intelligent young woman. Well ahead of her time.
Sarcastic, witty and wonderful. I really enjoyed it. I wanted more from Sim's character, as to why its not a full 5 stars. I really feel that she could have had more to her. I really felt that her character was lacking and I wanted more from her. But other than that, I loved the story.
