Are You My Mother?
by P.D. Eastman
This book is one of my fondest childhood memories. My mother, an ESL teacher, read it to us using different for the characters, as an attempt to get my siblings and I to learn English. Last year, in one of my Literature courses at uni, the professor brought a copy to demonstrate that we can study a piece of literature (even a simple one) from a lot of different points of view. It reminded me of my mum and how much I loved this book. If I ever have children, I'll read this book to them. Besides, it teaches a valuable lesson: mommy will always find you.
