While I found the story itself to be a bit more boring and "quiet" than I was hoping it to be, it definitely had that Holly Black ethereal vibe that I find comforting. Something about her fae stories are always so unique to me but she also makes the gruesome parts genuinely terrifying. I wish a bit more happened in the story, I didn't care for Hazel or Jack, and I think my favorite part was the cute little epilogue.
