A very sweet yet emotionally and realistically deep kids graphic novel! Our main character loves baseball and no matter what, wants to play as long as she possible can! She joins the “boys” team when she discovers there is no girls equivalent. Shenanigans ensue and she has to prove herself in order to be taken seriously amongst her team mates. I really enjoyed it and thought it was beautifully illustrated with a rich story! An important one too, to be honest!
