I don’t think there is a single other book in the world that has as much wasted potential as this book. The author lays out an interesting plot and describes the personalities of the characters very well, but she fails to follow through with actually making the personality she described a reality. Very often, I would get back into the plot because something interesting happens but then the story falls flat. I get why people like the book, but I think they like the idea of the book more than the actual book. It was insufferably long for no reason and I feel like the story could’ve been so much better if it was written by anyone else. 

Also??? What the fuck Charles?? And what the fuck Richard??? And what the fuck Henry???

⅖ could’ve been gayer. 

Judy was the best character in the book.
