Secrets of a Spinster
by Rebecca Connolly
There were so many aspects here that I loved - a woman finding her perfect match through realizing he'd been there all along, sisters helping each other, a friend group in Regency England. I actually would've love more of the sister and friend relationships explored, as sometimes I think Mary got off easy with kindness she didn't deserve based on her behavior. I do think the main couple are a good match, but it would've been even better if he had real competition that made both of them recognize that there are realistically more than one possible option for each person so that you have to really commit and choose each other to make it work.
