if all i could do was write a one sentence review, it would be this:
i love zeke and carter.
however i can write more and i will. first, zeke being demi and carter just?? accepting, understanding, and respecting this identity??? perfection. i am obsessed. but also, carters casual acceptance of everything about zeke without question is something so special.
second, i loved the way zeke went all in on what carter loves and carter went all in on what zeke loves without making it into a huge deal. simply shifting your life to fit your partners is one of my favorite signs of love.
would’ve been a 5 star read with a tad more grandma content, an epilogue, and not ending on a cliffhanger while the next books aren’t out yet (i am impatient but respect the author too much to actually be upset about this fact. this is a me issue, not a them issue)
