Saga is breathtaking, I'm so overwhelmed by feelings about this amazing story's beginning. I adore the protagonists, but the antagonists of the story are also richly developed, intriguing, fantastic characters. Vaughan spends time with each, developing a beautiful tapestry of interlaced stories. Staples's art is perhaps my favorite of any graphic novel ever, completely gorgeous, and she does a wonderful job with so many unique alien races.
