Interesting read and good twist at the end but it felt very slow and like it could've been finished sooner than it did; at the same time, the end felt a bit rushed for some reason. I still really enjoyed the different character povs and liked learning more about them each time. Good read though! I want to read more by this author to see if I will enjoy other works more. I would really like to know more about Ben as well and what he is really like as he is described by Nick as "someone no one really knows" and we know that Jess doesn't know him very well either. I don't think this aspect is very important to the book but I found myself wanting to know more about his motives for things. Like was he just doing his work to find out more about the family and screw them over since he never had what they did? Why did he act the way he did towards Nick's father even after knowing how Nick felt about him and all they shared. I wish we had more time with Ben! It just feels like he doesn't let himself get close to anyone (probably due to trauma) but loves finding out every little detail about others. Also think it's funny how many people fall for Ben without really knowing him, just because he is charming. Lol bit of a rant but oh well!
