Petrified Women
by Jeremy Ray
I'd like to start off by saying usually I don't read the "About the Author" section or beginning messages that authors may insert (I'm ashamed as a reader to say so and I'll definitely start reading them more) but for this one I took the time. I love how open Jeremy Ray is from the get go. He was gracious enough to give a little extra of himself even before this story began. So thank you for that.
Now, this is a short novella compacted with a lot of horrific details. I was intrigued all the way through. I didn't connect with the few characters that are featured but this was a plot driven story and I appreciated the symbolism and constant message to SURVIVE terrible experiences. The twist was excellent and I finished this book in one sitting.
