Cemetery Boys
by Aiden Thomas
Yadriel is trans and wants his dad to accept him as a boy. Meanwhile, he summons a ghost and the wrong ghost. He summons the hot, bad boy Julian who happened to just be murdered. Yadriel finds out some people have been murdered have had their bodies vanish. He is determined to find out what is happening.
I liked the idea of a transgender main character who is trying to find acceptance with their identity as long with the others around them. I liked the idea of the bodies disappearing. Also, I liked Julian’s antics, which were hilarious. However, I found the book to be a bit boring. I couldn’t connect with the characters and with the plot. It just fell flat for me. I’m sure many people will love this book-especially during Halloween time.
