The Rage of Dragons
by Evan Winter
I'm so glad a co-worker recommended this to me! I am always game for dragons and Evan Winter incorporated them in a very unique way. It's an African-inspired fantasy revenge story and and I couldn't put it down. I love a good revenge plot and the African inspiration made it all the more compelling.
I also particularly enjoyed that Tau isn't a "chosen one" and wasn't innately good at something from the beginning. He worked incredibly hard to acquire skills and that's not something I see a lot in adult fantasy.
“The days without difficulty are the days you do not improve.”
I'm so glad it's going to be a quartet!
