this so far is my least favorite this series, mostly because i dislike that rape was used as a plot device and to me this story felt like that what happened. 

and not because rape is not life changing and horrific or any of that but because it’s used as this reason to basically explain away a behavior and than never mentioned again. 
and honestly if someone would tell me they were raped especially by someone i know i would just go into having sex with them the next moment and tell them who they belong to now. 

so this just didn’t work for me but overall it was similar to what the author always does trauma plot and build on sex scenes.
