I’ve read several of the authors books so I know she goes dark and disturbing and that’s exactly what you get here as well. I’m always curious when a book is released as an audio original and the production quality here was fantastic as well as the narration from A.J. Cook and Tessa Albertson. Much of the story is highly emotional and their portrayals conveyed that really well. Some of it was predictable but I wasn’t all that bothered by it, it’s so fast paced and quick that I almost didn’t have time to think about it. If you like quick thrillers and don’t mind heavy themes this was good and would also be a good introduction to audiobooks if you haven’t tried them yet.
