Holy cow! This book was AMAZING. So incredibly intense, it's hard to put the book down. I loved the characters. Their interactions were very intimate' very earth shattering and always passionate. The main character's development is incredible. You can really see her grow from a timid, shy, introverted girl to a powerful woman through the author's writing. The main male character is strong, sexy and amazingly tender. It is hard to look away from their relationship, even for a moment! Their connection is electric, charged, dynamic, thrilling. The shower scene, is, well all I can say is WOA! Mafi takes her words and they sink right into your soul. They bite your with their edginess. You feel the characters' pain, fear, elation, love, intensity. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants something they will be totally drawn into and unable to stop reading. I cannot wait for the next one to come out. I think Tahereh Mafi is my new favorite author!
