I think this is not for me.

Something about Bee's character felt so passive.
Things happen to her, she notices how unfair it is but ultimately Levi is the one who fixes it for her
A very surface level beginning conflict and miscommunication that frustrated me to no end. I was so close to DNFing this. If you're wondering what the conflict is:
Bee thinks Levi is sabotaging their work at the beginning of the book. And while it's true someone does want the project to die, it's not Levi. Anyway, that's not what pissed me off. She's supposed to be a CO-LEADER on this project right? You're telling me that if you're co-leading something you wouldn't be escalating the situation every day you go to work and you don't have you're equipment and it seems like the other leader is ignoring you? Why aren't you CC'ing and BCC'ing every freaking email you send to Levi if you think he's sabotaging you? Why aren't you talking to more people in the team. It just felt like she was content to go to work and sit and do nothing. You can't say this is your job on the line, do nothing for 20 pages and expect us to believe that. If this is your job on the line, ACT LIKE IT. Rant over. Anyway, it just made me lose respect for Bee and part of where I started to notice this passivity problem where, of course, Levi has to go confront the boss and save the day. *rolls eyes*
This is in the first quarter of the book, by the way.
Not enough resolution (or acknowledgement) of the character flaws for this to work for me
