Little Lion: A Day in the Life of a Little Lion by Anna Brett, Carmen Saldana
4.0
informative lighthearted medium-paced

I’m greatly impressed by this book. It is a picture book, but it gives true facts. What really impressed me is that it mentions facts not normally found in books for this age. It mentions marking territory with urine, how the females of the pride hunt at night. And one thing I had not read anywhere else is how when the water hole dries up, they get their water from the plants surrounding the area by the water hole. Great tidbits like this make this a great resource for any age
