It was the first book I read in this series and found it entertaining and enjoyable.
I loved the cast of characters, human/ghostly/canine, and the plot was engaging and kept me guessing till the end.
The book is well written and the plot is sound. The paranormal aspect is quite funny and very light.
There was just one thing I didn't like: the knight in shining armour saving the heroine. As the two main characters are quite strong women it could have been avoided.
