This book. THIS BOOK. It took me forever to pick it up and, as always, I am so mad it took me so long to pick it up. This was the PERFECT fantasy read. It had royalty, revolution, rebels, romance, tension, friendship, PLOT TWISTS, everything you want in a fantasy. Friends to enemies to lovers, Wes and Tessa have to work together to figure out how to cure the sickness taking over the kingdom while fighting against the rebels and the king. I cannot wait to dive into the second book.
