Flirtation of Fate - ⭐⭐⭐

Flirtation of Fate was the most disappointing of these short stories for me and unfortunately the longest of the four. I guessed every single element of the "murder mystery" Garnett and Kenji were investigating. As well as the problems between Garnett and Kenji so I just didn't vibe with this storyline as much, sadly.

However I loved both Echo of Silence and Partners in Persuasion as they were a little bit different in style to some of Singh's other short stories focusing on pairings that we haven't seen as much. So I really liked that. 

Overall a mixed bag, but I enjoyed the collection overall as I love Singh and would definitely read more novella collections from her!
