A woman is haunted by the Mexican folk demon La Llorona as she unravels the dark secrets of her family history in this provocative horror novel. I just finished this last night and it was an interesting take on generational trauma and learning to find strength through our ancestors. I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style but could appreciate the themes regardless.
