This was a fun, interesting debut cozy. I didn't connect to the characters as much as I would have liked, but I enjoyed their personalities and their relationships to each other. One of my favorites was Duke. Who doesn't love a cozy companion? I loved the setting and the small town feel. I think that the next book will have a bit more polish, and I think I will connect with the characters even more!
