We Can't Keep Meeting Like This by Rachel Lynn Solomon
3.75
lighthearted medium-paced

Quinn's family has a wedding planning business. They expect her to study business at college and work in the family business afterwards. Her family is in business with Tarek's. His family owns a catering company. Tarek is a hopeless romantic and fan of grant gestures (love it when men love romance). Quinn has lost her trust in love and prefers hookups.  At the end of last summer, Quinn confessed her crush on him in the form of a rambling email—and then he left for college without a response. Quinn has been dreading seeing him again almost as much as she dreads another summer playing the harp for her parents’ weddings.

The book is told from Quinn's point of view and I enjoyed her journey towards trust and independence.

I would recommend it, especially to those who loved Emma Lord's Tweet Cute.
