It took me quite a while to get into this book, and it wasn’t until the last half that I was invested in the story.
I don’t think I particularly liked any of the characters, unfortunately. There were lots of talk of “claiming” people, and many relationships were toxic, but I think that was the point. I was there for the story, though.
I’ve heard the second book in the series was better, so I’ll probably continue to the next one.
